Getting there

Yes! All assignments have been completed.
Now just for the studying of exams, and waking up in time for lectures XD.
Last week of uni whoooooo!

Ooo and I completely forgot to blog about finally making it all the way to Ruined Castle. Yasaswi and I trekked down mountains, across landslides and climbed up treacherous boulders to reach Ruined Castle, and the views were amazing. You felt completely free on the edge of the world. I wanted to shout and dance, and sit still and take everything in, all at the same time. It’s an amazing place =].

Also I’ve finally decided on goals for this year, it’s kind of like new years resolutions, but not exactly.

I’ll leave everyone with the sunset we saw after our quest =D.

Blue Mountains Sunset =]

Mentholatum Is So Good

I really hope it’s not killing my brain cells or anything along those lines.
So I’m back from China, had an awesome time, and now I’m sick, which explains the mentholatum. I’ve actually got three posts lined up about my trip to China, but it’s a slow work in progress. But I’m pushing to post those on the weekend.

Breaking habits is hard.
For example, I wasn’t going to make any posts till I finished off my China posts, cause I like order and sequencing and etc. Which is sometimes hard to believe especially considering and craziness that comes out of my mouth and the state of my room. But that’s what I do, I find it hard to do an assignment that’s due later over one that’s due earlier. And I find it especially hard to remain concentrated on one thing.

Basically all this rambling boils down to assignmenting.
But this all going to change!
Starting tomorrow, it’s too late today XD.
I am not going to get distracted when I attempt assignments!
I will prioritise my assignments!
I will give myself a realistic deadline that I will actually complete the assignment by!
And I will continue doing all of the above.

How will I do this? I have no idea XD. Maybe it’ll do it in increments. Or reward myself generously when I meet my goals.
But I will do it!

Gearing Up,
Helen ♥

Fail =D

Haha well so much for sleeping early.
5am, not exactly improving there ><,
Oh well at least I accomplished four of the seven things from my list yesterday,
so I’m getting better at meeting my goals? XD yay!

I realised something amazing today,
well I already knew beforehand, but it just never occured for me to do it =.=”.
YOU CAN BUY STAMPS AT THE NEWSAGENTS,
SO YOU DON’T NEED TO LINE UP IN A LONG ASS LINE FOR ONE STAMP AT THE POST OFFICE =.=””””””””””
.
So yes, Helen = Genius XD.

Smart,

What to say…

Things are harder to say when you don’t know where you stand.
How do you know if something you say, won’t sound like you’re saying something else?
Actually what I want to say, will sound exactly what it’s suppose to sound like.
Sometimes I don’t know what to say…

Hmm, my hair’s a lot longer than it has been in a long while.
I didn’t notice till Ed pointed it out.
That being said, I’m going to have to trim it soon, the layers are getting uneven and too long, and my fringe is weirdly shaped.
I’m only afraid I’ll cut off too much like I usually do.

Oh and goals for 2011, I’m working on it.
Last year’s goals were affected by things that happened the year before and the beginning of the year.
So this year, I’ll see how things pan out for the first few months, to see what kind of year I’m in for.

Finally starting to slow down after more than three weeks of going out.
And as much as I enjoy seeing everyone and socialising, it’s good to be alone.

I once blogged about people making comparisons, and I’m completely fine with it, it’s human nature to compare, but it’s when people do it in such a way to put others down that it really gets to me.
Why would you need to create a situation that makes you look better at the expense of others?
Why do some people enjoy turning something positive into something negative?
Just the way that some people choose to express themselves and their justification for it, is kind of skewered.
If you have nothing constructive to say, sometimes it’s best to say nothing at all, instead of digging yourself into a hole.

On a happier note,
YAYYYYYY bike riding.
I really hope it doesn’t rain =]P.

Chirp Chirp,
Helen ♥
